Bobby Tambling currently holds the record of 202 goals, while Drogba reached the century mark for Chelsea last month and now stands on 102 goals.
"I feel young even if I am 31. I want to run and I am not tired so I will do everything to score 200 goals for Chelsea," he told his club’s website.
"If I am in good health and don’t have any injuries I can do it," he added.
"And if I do it, I also want some trophies around me and around the team, the Champions League especially and the Premier League as well.
"It is important for me and for the club."
As much as we want to go to Africa and represent our countries, we want to be back here soon and playing again with Chelsea
Didier Drogba Tambling achieved his goal tally in 370 appearances in all competitions for Chelsea between 1958 and 1970.
Drogba, who joined the Blues from Olympique Marseille in 2004, has played 231 games for the club in his five years in west London.
He has been in sparkling form this season under new manager Carlo Ancelotti and his eight league goals have helped Chelsea take a two-point lead at the top of the Premier League.
Having signed a contract extension until 2012, Drogba is hoping to add to his two Premier League winners’ medals and earn Champions League glory, having lost the 2008 final to Manchester United.
Chelsea will be unable to call on Drogba, Salomon Kalou, John Obi Mikel and Michael Essien during the Africa Cup of Nations that kicks off in January in Angola.
"I am concerned (about January) because Chelsea is my team but, at the same time, I know the club is going to find a way to keep winning the games without us," said Drogba.
"As much as we want to go to Africa and represent our countries, we want to be back here soon and playing again with Chelsea."
